It’s slightly the calm after the storm, now. Recovering from a minor bout of a mystery minvirus (not swine ‘flu). The piece for the latest podcast is something I’ve had for about a year -  it’s part one in a trilogy/triptych about a murder mystery I’m working on. I don’t want to explain too much about it, because it’s a slightly surreal idea and will look weird written down -  also I’m curious as to whether it makes any sense. One of the other two are Department of Homeland Security, which is pretty much finished but I need to make it sound more interesting (!), and the demos for which I posted here aages ago. The third one is called Every Single One, and I have music and lyrics but not quite the right arrangement.

The next big SOTL event will be Sound of The Ladies Lounge 4, which will probably not feature me at all… but instead David Bailey and Sam Whates. We recorded this 2 months ago but I have had literally no time to edit it. Hopefully it’ll be out in the next week. Fingers crossed.
